Two terracotta pots of soy wax, each topped with the things from the masala dabba that smell like winter: clove, a curl of cinnamon, star anise, black pepper.
They are hand poured in small batches, and every top comes out a little different. Put one by the chai tray when the first cold evening comes, and keep the other for Diwali night. The empty pots can hold a small succulent or a few pens.
